Psalm 139 | God is With Me | Part 2

Even the dark waters reflect Your brightness, LORD.

I can never escape from your Spirit!

I can never get away from your presence!

If I go up to heaven, You are there;

if I go down to the grave, You are there.

If I ride the wings of the morning,

if I dwell by the farthest oceans,

even there your hand will guide me,

and your strength will support me.

I could ask the darkness to hide me

and the light around me to become night

but even in darkness

I cannot hide from You.

To You the night shines as bright as day.

Darkness and light are the same to You. ~ Psalm 139: 7-12

God promises to never leave or forsake me:

...For God has said,

"I will never fail you.

I will never abandon you."

So we can say with confidence,

"The LORD is my helper,

so I will have no fear.

What can mere people do to me?" ~ Hebrews 13:5-6

Today I recognize that I do nothing in my own strength. God is with me!

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas. ~ Hebrews 13:8-9

When the world buffets me on every side with strange new ideas that go against God's Word, I resist in the name of Jesus! God is with me. I worship and obey only Him without fear. He surrounds me with light even in the darkest night and by His power I am protected by His presence.

If I need guidance, His hand reaches out to support me and leads me into His righteousness. His wisdom replaces my lack of knowledge; whether I hike the mountains or travel through the valleys; fly in airplanes or travel the seas - God is with me.

Thank you, LORD! for caring for me with steadfast love that never fails.
