Come to the Light

Not everyone sees the need to come to the Light. They may prefer living in darkness rather than stepping into the Light for various reasons; mostly due to fear that others will see their sins.

Jesus said in John 12:35:

"My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going. Put your trust in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light."

Although Jesus performed many miracles and taught God's truth to his brethren, most people did not believe in him.

"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God's one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God's light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants." ~ John 3:16-21 NLT (emphasis added)

So come to the light, friends, because God loves you so much that anyone who believes on Jesus, His Son, will not be condemned for sins, but be forgiven and live eternally with God. Don't delay, as we do not know what tomorrow holds or when our time on earth expires.

Thank you for reading. Blessings to all, trust in God:

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. ~Philippians 2:13 NLT
